COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Waimea arrived at Auckland yesterday from the East Coast and berthed at the King’s Wharf. She leaves here at 4 p.m. to-morrow on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier. The Wingatui left Auckland on Saturday afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. The Katoa, which arrived here on Saturday evening from Port Craig, via Bluff, Dunedin, Wellington and Napier, berthed at the Prince’s Wharf. The Balls Head sailed on Saturday afternoon for Greymouth, where she will load again on Wednesday for Auckland, being due back here about Sunday next. The Waipiata arrived here this morning from Southern ports and berthed at the Prince’s Wharf. After discharge the vessel loads at Auckland and sails on Thursday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, Oamaru and Timaru. The Kairaanawa left Auckland on Saturday afternoon for Westport, where she will probably load for this port. The Kurow sailed from Dunedin on Saturday afternoon, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, for Auckland. She is due hei*e about Monday next. The Kaitangata arrived at Auckland on Sunday from "Westport, via Greymouth, and berthed at the King’s Wharf. The Gunbar is expected at Auckland next Saturday from the East Coast and sails the following Monday on her return trip to Gisborne, .Napier and East Coast bays. The Rangitoto leaves at 7.30 p.m. to-day for Thames. She is due back again at 5 p.m. to-morrow. The Clansman returns from Whangarei •at 6 a.m. to-morrow, and sails again 4 p.m. the same day for Russell, Opua, Whangaroa and Mangonui. The Hauiti sails at 7 p.m. to-morrow for Coromandel. The Apanui is to be dispatched from Auckland at half-past six to-morrow evening for Mercury Bay and Tairua. The Paroto leaves at 4 p.m. to-morrow for Kerepeehi. The Taniwha sails at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Paeroa. The Ngapuhi leaves Auckland at 6.30 p.m. to-morrow for Tauranga. The Claymore is to be dispatched at 3 o’clock to-morrow afternoon for Whangarei. The Gael leaves Auckland at 4 p.m. to-morrow for Waiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth. The Kawau sails at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Mangawai. The Tiroa, which arrived at Auckland on Saturday from the coast, berthed at King’s Wharf. She loads to-morrow and at noon is scheduled to sail for Hicks Bay and Gisborne. The Richardson steamer Awahou is expected to. arrive at Auckland to-dav from the East Coast. She berths at Central Wharf, and at five o’clock to-morrow evening sails for Tokomaru Bay, Hicks Bay and Gisborne.
