AWKWARD QUESTIONS TO ANSWER
The Dargaville Racing Club has decided that the following questions be submitted to Parliamentary candidates: (1) Will you maintain the requirements of the people to the full enjoyment of all legitimate sports and oppose any curtailment of the statutory privilege in connection with them? (2) will you support the repea. of legislation which prohibits the publication of totalisator dividends and the transmission of investments to racecourses?
