MR. COATES’S CAMPAIGN

RETURNING TO DARGAVILLE (Special to THE SUN) s INVERCARGILL, To-day. A warm reception was accorded to the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates here last evening. The Prime Minister was in territory where* he is not so we.llknown personally as in the North, and in a constituency at present held by Sir Joseph Ward. He was met at the station by the Mayor, Mr. John Millar, and by leading citizens. To-night Mr. Coates is to speak at Otautau. dealing probably with the actions of the Government in the past three years to assist farmers. He will return North to-morrow, on the way to his Dargaville headquarters in his own eonstituency, where he is to speak on Wednesday.
