NOTICE TO MARINERS

BUOY BREAKS ADRIFT DRIFTING 10 MILES FROM TIRI Shearer Rock buoy, off Tiri Island, broke away last evening and is drifting to the north-east. Its position at 6 o’clock this morning was 10 miles from Tiri Island. A launch has been sent out by the Marine Department to secure the buoy, which will be replaced in its former position as soon as possible.
