Cards and dancing held sway in the Otahuhu Parish Hall on Thursday evening, when a very enjoyable social evening was organised by the ladies in charge of the handkerchief stall, at the forthcoming bazaar. headed bv Mrs. West. An enjoyable progressive 500 turnament was won by Mrs. Elliott and Mr. Baxter. Consolation prizes were awarded to Mrs. Bay and Mr. Jackson. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr and Mrs. Ken Todd. Mr. Tomes gave several enjoyable musical items.
