MUNICIPAL BAND AT ZOO

A very fine programme of musical numbers will be presented by the Municipal Hand in the Zoological Park on Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Two stirring choruses —“And the Glory” and “O Thou that Tellest” — from Handel’s “Messiah”; selections from Berlioz’s “Damnation of Faust,” and Sullivan’s “Princess Ida”; overture, “Banditan Streiche”; cornet solo, “Bird Song at Eventide,” by Mr. Fred Bowes, together with bright marches and hymn tunes, are to be played. The “Girl on the Barge” company, under the direction of Edward Sloman, is en route to Universal City from location work in the east at Whitehall and New York City.
