WANTED DISCIPLINING
SEVEN YOUTHS SENTENCED TERMS AT THE BORSTAL Press Association WELLINGTON, Friday. For some months a gang of youths has been operating about Wellington and suburbs with stolen cars, breaking into shops and committing mischief. They were told to-day by Mr. E. Page, S.M.. that they wanted disciplining. He sentenced oohn Sydney Murphy, aged 17, and Frederick Freeman Oliver, to three years at the Borstal; Frank Edwin Brett, aged 17, John Hugh Gibbins McGillivray, aged 20, and Francis Gerald Dillon, to two years at the Borstal; John McCarthy, aged 18, and Francis Joseph McKenzie, aged 18, to probation.
