NEW BASIS OF AGREEMENT Press Association WELLINGTON, To-day, Complete agreement was reached at the conference between the New Zealand Sheepowners’ Federation and the New Zealand Workers' Union concerning tbe rates which are to be paid to shearers and shed hands this season. The agreement establishes a new principle, as it gets away from the cost of living basis of payment to workers and substitutes payment in accordance with the ability of the industry to meet costs.
