“EAT EMPIRE FRUIT”
(Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 10.10 a.m. LONDON, Friday. Prince Arthur of Connaught, opening the Imperial Fruit Show at Manchester, emphasised that every fruit could be grown in the Empire, and urged a greater consumption of Empire fruit. He approved of the proposal to establish the show on a permanent basis.
