MILLIONS OF POPPIES

ARMISTICE DAY SALES British Official Wireless RUGBY, Thursday. In the past year 32,000,000 artificial Flanders poppies, to be sold on Armistice Day, have been made by disabled ex-servicemen at the British Legion's factory at Richmond. Within the next two weeks they will all have been dis tributed to about 3,000 local committees throughout Britain. It is anticipated that £500,000 will be raised for disabled ex-servicemen by the sale of these emblems in the streets.
