Roskill Prowler Faces More Charges

CAPTURE AND ARREST ACCUSED IN DOCK Pacing charges relating to the sensational robbery and subsequent struggle at Mount Roskill on Wednesday evening, Arthur James Connop appeared at the Police Court this morning. Connop, a wiry-looking man in his thirties, was charged with breaking and entering the dwelling of Sydney Franklin and stealing a watch and chain valued at £ 3 and 11s 3d in money. He was further charged with assaulting Sydney Franklin. On the application of Chief-Detective Hammond, who intimated that further charges were pending:, Connop was remanded until Thursday.
