MISS TOBIN’S RELEASE NEGOTIATIONS PROCEEDING Press Association NELSON. To-day. The New Zealand Church Missionary Society to-day received the following cable from Shameen. China, regarding the captured missionary. Miss Blanche Tobin: “Brigands guarantee Miss Tobin's life and health. Settlement expected to-day." The cable was signed by the Rev. Mr. Blanchett, who was sent to arrange for the release of Miss Tobin.
