SYDNEY, Thursday. At the Sydney wool sales to-day the market closed firm at the best point of the v*eek. There were good clearances and 11,824 bales were sold. Greasy Merino sold to 27*d. COMPANY REGISTRATIONS Two public and three private companies were registered in Auckland yesterday. Details are:— Public The New Zealand Tobacco Company, Limited, tobacco growers and merchants.
