Australian Movie Man Spends £loo,ooo In Talkies
(Australian and N.Z. Press Association) VANCOUVER, Wednesday. MR. STUART F. DOYLE, of the Union Theatres, Sydney, sailed by the Aorangi, after a New A ork trip. He came to look over the new talking movies and bought 20 complete installations at a cost of £5,000 each. They will be installed as fast as possible in Australia. Mr. Doyle says the Australians are not struck with British films, which are not equal to American ones.
