FIRE IN RAILWAY YARD
CINDERS SET SLEEPERS ALIGHT At about one o’clock this morning the City Fire Brigade received a call to the railway yards, where a heap of old sleepers was on fire. The flames were put out without trouble and no damage. except to the sleepers, was done. The fire had been caused by cinders having been emptied from engines on to the ground near the sleepers.
