Obituary
MR. FREDERICK A. GILPIN Mr. Frederick Albrighton Gilpin, of Birkdale, died at the Auckland Hospital on Tuesday after an illness extending over five weeks. 'Mr. Gilpin, who was 62 years of age, was a member of the Birkenhead Borough Council until a few years ago. He was a prominent worker on the executives of the Birkdale Fruitgrowers’ Association and Upper Harbour Association and was honorary wharfinger at Beach Haven. Mr. Gilpin is survived his wife and one son, Mr. F. L. Gilpin, of Birkdale.
