' ALL HARD AT WORK (From Our Own Correspondent) TAURANGA. Wednesday. The various candidates in the district are all well engaged in their campaign work. Mr. D. C. Chalmers (Labour) has started his second round and. has been well received at all the places at which he has spoken. Mr. F. W. Colbeck (Country Party) has been addressing meetings in the eastern part of his electorate and has met with an excellent reception. His chief speech is to be given here tomorrow. Mr. C. E. Macmillan (Reform) opened his campaign at Te Aroha on Monday. He will have a strenuous time to get to all parts of his electorate before the elections. Mr. Lochead (United Party) has not made a start, and it is rumoured that he will withdraw. However, he is attending a meeting of the party in Auckland and it will be known in a day or two whether he will go to the Poll-
