CROSS-COUNTRY RUN
WESLEY COLLEGE RACES The annual cross-country races for the boys of Wesley College was held at Faerata yesterday. The course, which was nearly seven miles in the senior events, provided heavy going times. The first boy home, Pritchard, 2m. ran the distance in 51 minutes, and the fastest time was put up by Farland, who ran fifth from scratch In 50m 48s. Others who secured places were: Russell (3m), 2; Allum (lm), 3; Dudding (3m), 4. Bodley won the junior open championship, with Sutton second. Cowen won the junior handicap, and Scott was second.
