MEETING OF EXECUTIVE LABOUR DAY MATCHES At a meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby Leagu . held last evening, Mr. G. Rhodes presiding, a letter was received from the Huntly Club stating that its team would be taking part in the Labour Day competition, and would arrive on Saturday. Hikurangi advised that its team was compelled to withdraw from the competition. The junior management committee wrote stating a senior B grade player had played for Remuera juniors in a recent competition match. It was decided to ask the Remuera Club for an explanation. The Athletic Club gave notice to move that the minute dealing with the A section being limited to seven senior teams be deleted. The following matches were arranged in connection with the Labour Day competition:—Huntly v. Marist, Carlaw Park No. 1,2 p.m., Mr. A. Hae; City v. Devonport, Carlaw Park No. i, 3 p.m., Mr. H. McKubrey; Richmond v. Newton, Carlaw Park No. 2, 3 p.m., Mr. T. Chernside; Ponsonby v. Point Chevalier, Carlaw Park No. 2, 4 p.m., Mr. P. Rogers; Ellerslie v. winners of Huntly v. Marist, Carlaw Park No. 1, 4 p.m. The final will be played on the following Saturday. Third Grade. —Richmond v. Athletic, Western Springs, 3 p.m., Mr. W. Simpson; Huntly v. Mount Albert, Carlaw Park No. 1, 1 p.m., Mr. C. Holmes. Primary Schools.—Newmarket v. Otahuhu, Carlaw Park No. 1,2 p.m., Mr. H. Carrol; Mount Albert v. Onehunga A, Carlaw Park No. 2, 12.45 p.m., Mr. H. Stevenson.
