WHANGAREI’S NEW COURTHOUSE.—The official opening of the new Courthouse at Whangarei took place yesterday. The previous buildings had become entirely inadequate. Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., occupied the Bench at the first Court held in the new building.
OFF ON A SOUTHERN CRUISE.—H.M.S. Dunedin leaves Devonport on a cruise which will include visits to Akaroa and Wellington. She is expected back in port on December 7.
