MEETING OF EXECUTIVE SATURDAY’S GAMES The management committee of the Auckland Football Association met last evening. Mr. R. P. Harrison presiding in the absence of Mr. A. *Menzies, who was indisposed. On the recommendation of the Finance Committee, it was decided to allot sufficient funds from the profits of the Queen Carnival contest to meet all claims against the insurance scheme for injured players. Permission was granted for a business house team and the Yung Jung Chinese team to play a curtain-raiser as an injured player’s benefit match at Huntly on Labour Day.
