PREVENTING A BRUISE

When you bump against something hard there is usually some pain and, later on, there may be a discoloured bruise. At such times it is a good plan to rub the place vigorously with the hand, and keep on doing this for several, minutes. Not only will this relieve the pain, but it will also largely prevent the discolouration This is because the rubbing stimulates the flow of the blood over the damaged part and congestion is prevented.
