AUSTRALIAN RUGBY
AGREEMENT WITH DOMINION FUTURE PROGRAMMES Reed. 2.8 p.m. SYDNEY, To-day. The New South Wales Rugby Union Council has accepted an agreement arranged by Chairman Martin with the New Zealand Rugby Union under which all future visits will be Australians in character, the New Zealanders playing New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. Programmes will be restricted to eight matches. New Zealand visits Australia in 1929 and 1932, and Australia returns in 1931 and 1933. There will be no interchange in 1930 because a British team is visiting both countries. At least one match during New Zealand visits here will be against an Australian side.
