MONTE BANKS IN FILMS Monty Banks has just signed a new i contract with British International ! Pictures. The contract is the result \of John Maxwell seeing “Adam’s : Apple” prior to his American trip. Mr. • Maxwell was so impressed by Banks’: ! performance, and particularly by the [ climax, that he made him an offer. | Monty Banks is already at work writ- , ing a new comedy, “Which should be in ! production in about six weeks’ time. 1 He will be starred and will also probably direct. It is interesting to note j that in “‘Adam’s Apple” Banks has* I made a film of a type which had ! hitherto been regarded as almost im - possible outside Hollywood. He declares. however, that it is just as easy to make such films in England- as in America, and the he can get suitable actors. Cinema Art Films will re bn.*# this picture in Xew Zealand.
