DEFRAUDING CREDITORS
ITALIAN PLACED ON PROBATION INTEREST IN CAR Press Association GISBORNE, Monday. On a charge of transferring his interest in a motor-car to his wife with intent to defraud his creditors prior to his bankruptcy, Antonio Zaame, an Italian fishmonger, now bankrupt, was placed on probation for 12 months in the Magistrate’s Court this morning. On a charge of failure to keep proper books of account prior to bankruptcy he was convicted and ordered to pay costs.
