MOTOR-CAR ON FIRE

TAKEN FROM WAKEFIELD ST. A motor-car, which was taken from Wakefield Street last evening, was found burning some hours later near the Orakei Bridge. The car, a Buick, w;as the property of Mr. Norman Cunningham, horsetrainer, of Gorrie Street, Ellerslie. It was left in Wakefield Street at eight o’clock last evening, but when the owner returned at 10 o’clock it had disappeared. A taxi driver found the car blazing at the Orakei Bridge at about 11 o’clock.
