ANNUAL MEETING HELD (From Our Own Correspondent) The Thames Cricket Association held its annual meeting on Wednesday evening. Dr. Somerly presided. Delegates present were: Messrs. R. Renshaw, J. Simpson, R. Cleave, A. Brokenshire. K. Dare, R. Buchan, W. Martin. Crawford-Watson, and G. Buchan. The following were elected to hold office: Patron, Mr. E. N. Miller; vice-patron l , Mr. A. M. Samuels, M.P.; president, Dr. W. Sowerby; secretary, Mr. F. Gibson; auditor, P. Jensen; management committee, Messrs. A. Brokenshire, K. Dare. J. M. Fox, Craw-ford-Watson. R. Cleave, G. Twentyroan, A. C. Sibley, Dr. Sowerby’ and F. Gibson. The club affiliation to the union was Axed at £2 2s. Entries for the cup championship competition close on October 17. Mercury Bay and Tapu Clubs linked up with the union for., the first time this season. The Court Challenge Cup will be open for competition by clubs of the waihi, Paeroa, Hauraki Plains Association. The championship counting points were amended to read: Two innings’ "in, 3; one inning’s. 2: tie, drawn Fame, 1 point.
