CATERING FOR PATRONS
THE Otahuhu Trotting Club is not averse to allowing owners and trainers the use of the grass circuit on the track at Mangere, on payment of a very modest fee, and this thoughtfulness on the part of the officials is greatly appreciated by those closely connected with the sport. Caretaker Somers usually has the circumference in capital order when it is required for final trials, and many visitors from the South are glad to seize the opportunity of making the trip to the suburban ground for a strong work-out.
