DIXIELAND CABARET
The usual Saturday gala carnival will be held at Dixieland Cabaret this evening with dancing from 8 p.m., to midnight. A theatrical night will be held at Dixieland next Monday, when a grand farewell will be tendered to Miss Margaret Bannerman and her company. SOCIAL TO “ALL BLACK” The Marist Brothers Rugby Football Club are tendering a welcome home to Mr. “Swin” Hadley, the All Black, in the Oddfellows’ Hall, next Tuesday evening. An entirely new version of the famous music hall sketch, “A Sister to Assist ’Er," has been filmed. This sketch is described as being a classic of Cockney character and humour, and ie essentially British, but the outstanding feature of this laughter providing ? I s , the ? awle ss acting of that inimitable British screen comedienne, Mary Brough. This picture will be released throughout New Zealand by .British Dominions Films.
