CREDITORS AT ROTORUA HEAVY LIABILITIES (From Our Resident Correspondent.) ROTORUA, Friday. According to his statement, Leslie Vickers, a meeting of whose creditors was held to-day, is at present serving a term in prison for misappropriating £SOS from the funds of the Rotorua Co-operative Building Society. Bankrupt’s only assets consisted of an equity in his house at Rotorua, which he estimated at £3OO, but a writ had been issued against him by the Building Society, claiming £ 995. To protect his other creditors he had been compiled to file his petition. The meeting decided that the Official Assignee should be communicated with and the meeting was adjourned sine die.
