RIMUTAKA ARRIVES
SOUTHAMPTON TO AUCKLAND Carrying 69 atoon and 42 third- lass passengers, the New Zealand Shipping Co.’s Rimutaka berthed at Queen's Wharf at 9 a.m. this morning. She left Southa >ton for Auckland on August 31, and took the direct route, via Panama. Good weather was encountered for the greater part of the voyage, although the ship ran into heavy wind and sea two days ago and. in consequence, her arrival was delayed for some hours. On her last voyage the Rimutaka was severely buffeted by a hurricane, and she was fortunate in not having a similar experience on this occasion, as she narr. —the terrific hurricane that struck Florida so - little time ago.
