UNEMPLOYMENT RELIEF Mr. A. Harris, M.P., has notified the Devonport Borough Council that Government £ for £ subsidies have been granted for Stanley Bay croquet grounds, £100; Watson’s Park (on King Edward Parade), £117: and Melrose Park. £IOO. These grants are paid on fund 6 raised by subscription or otherwise for relief of unemployment. In all, over £3OO has been paid in subsidies this winter at Devonport.
