MILFORD LIFE-SAVERS
ANNUAL SMOKE-CONCERT The annual smoke concert of the Milford Surf and Life-saving Club, held at the Green Mill, attracted a large muster of members last evening. Mr. G. C. Malcolm presided. Those contributing to the programme were Messrs. A. M. Naughton. R. Sinclair, A. C. Faulkner, T. Hilliker, L. Moyland. and Massee. Also, an enjoyable item was a trio by Messrs. Hilliker, Moylan, and Faulkner. Mr. Alex. Harris, M.P., was a guest, and contributed a number of diverting reminiscences. It is the present intention of the Milford Surf Club to send a life-saving team to compete in the Nelson Shield competitions, to be held at Wellington.
