SABBATH-BREAKING?

INSPECTION OF RANGITOTO The Rangitoto Island Domain Board, which is also the Devonport Borough Council, finds that Saturday afternoons are so occupied with sport that members cannot find time to inspect the island. In consequence a Sunday visit ha* been planned. Mr. J. Hisiop last evening protested that people might complain of Sabbath-breaking. Mr. T. Walsh: The board represent* all the community, a large portion of which is pagan, but this trip down is to the benefit of the pagans. Mr. E. Aldridge: At least we can say that we will be seeing if t^ e people who visit the domain under our control are observing the Sab" bath.
