T HE well-known and popular Hawke’s Bay trainer, “Bill’* Head, who has been spending a health recuperating holiday in the far North, has returned to Auckland and was a visitor to Alexander Park yesterday. The trainer of The Shrew, Raima and Co., who has not been in the best of health since the Epsom June fixture, has made a satisfactory recovery and will return to Hastings at the conclusion of the spring carnival. The Shrew arrived to-day to fulfil her Auckland engagements.
