At Ellerslie Again

SUNSHINE MODES APPEAR The Smartness of Lace WHEN the Auckland Racing Club concluded its spring meeting at Ellerslie to-day there was a good attendance of fair racing enthusiasts, who came in all the charming inodes which so bright a day inspired. Laces, georgettes and pretty floral taffetas were worn, and so were hundreds of attractive ensembles of heavier crepes and silks. Tailored suits continue to emphasise their nonchalant appeal and were worn in numerous materials, with a vivid flower, a hat of gay tone or a soft fur wrap to give them additional chic.
