AKARANA RIFLE CLUB

Tli© Akarana Rifle Club opened it« championship shoot at Penrose rifle rang© on Saturday by competing for trophies presented by Messrs. F. H. Coombes, E. J. C. Reston, and J. R. Draffin. There was a large attendance of members, and conditions were ideal for good shooting. Trophy points were won by the following: T. Elliott, J. R. Draffin, W. Powell, A. M. Richardson, D. Ashley, L Hammond, A. G. Smith, T. Sauverin. The top men in each section take silver spoons. Details are as follow: A Section. —Mr. F. R. Coombes’s trophy: T. E.
