COLLECTIONS AT ST. PAUL’S
NEW SYSTEM OPERATES The new system of freewill offerings involving the abolition of the collection plate and its substitution by boxes at the doors, was inaugurated yesterday at St. Paul’s Church, City. The congregation in the morning was larger than for several Sundays. Worshippers apparently appreciated the freewill method, as the amount placed in the boxes was definitely greater than the average under the old order.
