CRASH INTO FENCE

CAR BADLY DAMAGED (From Our Own Correspondent) WHANGAREI, Saturday. A two-seater motor-car owned by Mr. A. AlcAlillan, of Whangarei, and driven by Mr. J. Ryan, a school teacher, of Hikurangi, left the road at a sharp turn near Kensington Park this afternoon and crashed into a fence. Air. Ryan and the two friends who were with him in the car escaped with a few cuts and bruises.

The car was badly damaged. the windscreen being broken and the front axle and front left wheel considerably damaged. The left running-board, with the car battery attached, was torn off.
