ORGANISATION OF CAMPAIGN (From Our Own Correspondent) WAIHI. To-day. Following a visit to Waihi of Mr. J. S. Montgomerie the official Labour candidate for the Thames electorate, a well attended meeting of his supporters was held in the miners* reading room on Saturday night, over which Mr. A. E. Robinson presided. Committees were formed for canvassing the town and district, each member being allotted a certain section of the Waihi area. Mr. Howe was elected chairman of the farmers’ committee and Mr. N. J. Moon chairman of the beiA h committee.
