FRUIT SHIPMENTS

REPORT ON RESEARCH (From Our Resident Reporter.) WELLINGTON, To-day. Dr. Franklin Kidd, of the Cambridge Low Temperature Station, who recently visited the Dominion, has advised the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research that his report dealing with fruit shipments from New Zealand last season will soon be to hand. Much is expected from this report, and it is hoped that it will prove possible to continue and extend these investigations into the conditions of carriage of New Zealand fruit during the coming export season.
