INCREASED SUGAR PROFITS Ail increase of profits of 551 is disclosed by the Australian Sugar Company, in which Howard Smith, Ltd., is largely interested. From net earnings of £27,435 a dividend of 12 per cent, accounts for £24,949. The sum of £1,933 is allotted t« the reserve, and £553 is added to undivided profits, making them £2,485. Capital amounts to £207,915; reserve, £7.756: and creditors, £42,757.
