ORGAN RECITAL
The programme arranged by the city organist for the recital in the Town liall to-morow (Sunday) night will . include an effective overture by Wolstenholme, the blind organist, the “Prize Song” from Wagner’s “Meistersinger,” two popular minuets by Mozart and Beethoven, and Schubert’s “Ave Maria.”
DIXIELAND CABARET A Race Night Carnival is the big - at*traction at the Dixieland Cabaret this evening, with dancing from 8 p.m. to midnight. A special .attraction will be provided on Monday, October 15, when a Theatrical Night will be held in honour of Miss Margaret Bannerman and company. Victor McLaglen has signed a contract at the Fox studio, and as a result he will receive what is said to be the first sales classification ever accorded to a star of the Fox organisation, the “Victor McLaglen series.”
