“ACROSS THE ATLANTIC”

The authority of a megaphone held in the directorial lips is too kell-known in Hollywood to be disputed, but the director, Howard Bretherton. found his megaphone useless during one stage of the filming of “Across the Atlantic,” an exciting aviation romance, adapted for the screen from an original story bv John Ransom e. Bretherton shouted until he was hoarse, but Blue paid not the slightest heed, for at the time he was several hundred feet in the air piloting an airplane, an operation at which he was too new to divert his attention from the mechanism. The difficulty between the director and star was finally overcome by the installation of a portable radio set. Included in the supporting cast of ‘Across the Atlantic” are Edna Murphy. Burr Mclntosh and Robert Ober. “Across the Atlantic” is shortly to be released throughout the Dominion.
