CHEMIST’S WARNING REGARDING COUGH MIXTURES AN UNPLEASANT EXPOSURE “Quito a large proportion of the cough and cold remedies on the market contain opium or morphia i” the form of paregoric- (a preparation of opium j, ; laudanum (another preparation of ! opium), elilorodine, etc.,” says a qualif fied chemist. 1 “People who take these mixtures are • unknowingly but surely forming a-drug habit. Cough mixtures containing any form of poison should be entirely banished from the home. They do more harm than good.” The best preparation in this chemist’s opinion is * Heenzo” (Hean’s Essence.!, which does not contain the slightest proportion of any poison. It can be given to the youngest members of the family, and in all cases it has proved a most effective specific for coughs, colds and all throat and chest ailments.
