Canon Percival James will preach at the morning service in St. Mary’s, Parnell, to-morrow. At evensong the preacher will be the Rev. G. C. Cruickshank, of St. Mark’s, Remuera. * • * To-morrow morning in St. Matthew’s, Wellesley Street, the Rev. Carew Thomas will preach. Canon Grant Cowen will speak at the evening service, which will be broadcast. * * * The Pitt Street Alethodist Church will celebrate its 84th anniversary to-mor-row. Dr. C. H. Laws will preach in the morning and the Rev. L. B. Dalby in the evening. Both services will be fully choral. + * * At to-morrow’s services at the Alethodist Central Alission, opposite the Town Hall, the Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour will speak on “Drug Addicts in Auckland.” * • • At the Edendale Presbyterian Church to-morrow the Rev. W. Gilmour will preach at both services. At Pokeno at 7 p.m. Air. Reuben E. Dowle will speak on “What is Christian Science?” Services will be held as usual at Somervell. ♦ • • The Associated Churches of Christ will hold service as usual at Ponsonby Road, Dominion Road, Richmond, Onehunga, Avondale, Point Chevalier, Alount Albert, Devonport, and Pukekohe. 0 0 0 The Spiritual Scientists’ Church, Newton, will hold an open circle at 3 p.m. to-morrow. At 7 p.m. Mrs. HarrisRoberts will give an address on the “Message of the Messiah.” • • • The First Church of Christ, Scientist, will hold morning and evening services in the Church Hall, Symonds Street, to-morrow. A testimony meeting will be held at 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The Sunday-school anniversary services at St. John’s, Ponsonby Road, will be repeated to-morrow. A special service will be held at 2.45, when the primary and junior departments will give a demonstration service. The Rev. A. S. Wilson will preach at the morning service in the Grange Road Baptist Church to-morrow, and Air. Ray Simpson, a divinity student, will speak in the evening. 0 0 0 The Progressive Spiritualist Church, Alma Street, Newmarket, will hold an open circle under the leadership of Mrs. Hudson to-morrow evening. 0 0 0 The Rev. Henry W. Whyte, of South India, will speak at the afternoon service at the Y.M.C.A. to-morrow.
