N.Z. GOLF CHAMPION

being the only interesting feature. Mrs. Williams reduced her opponent’s lead from 4 up to one at the 9th in the afternoon, the next five holes changing hands alternately. At the 15th Mrs, Williams followed Miss Chrystall into the trees, and while Miss Chrys-
tall got the hack of the green with her second Airs. Williams twice hit trees, and became dormy three down. A bright four saved Mrs. Williams at the next, and a half in par 4’s at the next, the 35tli of the match, gave the New Zealand championship title to the Christchurch representative.
