McLEAN. —On October 4, T 928, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. YV. J. Dallen, Pukenui Road. Epsom, Margaret, widow of the late James McLean, formerly of Dargaville; in her 79th year. NEILSON. —At Auckland Hospital, on October 4, 1928, Albert Leopold, beloved husband of Josephine Neilson, Railways, Mercer. PALMER. —On October 4, at his late residence, Clonbern Road, Remuera, Charles, beloved husband of tKe late Emily Palmer; in his 88th year. RICHARDSON. —On October 4, 1928, at his residence, Hillcrest, Sea View Avenue, Northcote, William Ernest, dearly-beloved husband of Elsie Diack Richardson; aged 72 years. Funeral will leave the above address at 1.30 p.m. to-morrow (Saturday), for Birkenhead Cemetery. STEEL. —On October 4, at her late residence, Lynwood, Earnoch Avenue, Takapuna, Janet Cameron, widow of the late James Steel, Esq., Prestwick, Scotland.
