FIRE OH BARGE
DECKING DAMAGED Fire Brigade was called down to the Northern /-Wharf where some deck planking on the Colonial Sugar Company’s barge, Pui, was on fire. It was found that some cinders from the donkey engine furnace had fallen out of the fire box and smouldered until the planks of the deck caught fire. The flames were extinguished without difficulty and very little damage was done.
