(Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. Noon. LONDON, Thursday. MRS. ALVIEE McPHERSON, the American evangelist, arrived at Liverpool Street from Norwich, and will begin her .campaign in London. Fifty members of the London Four-Square Gospel Church, including fashionably-dressed women, loudly cheered her, while there were a few shouts of “We do not want you” from the remainder of the considerable crowd. While she walked from the railway platform she was besieged by admirers, while the Four-Square supporters sang the hymn, “Tell the World You’ve Found the Precious Saviour.” Mrs. McPherson was motored off amid further cheers.
